listing is to help "connect" interested people to opportunities to learn and dance the Argentine Tango
in our area. By area, I am including venues for Tango for the Treasure Coast area of Florida with my home of Port
St. Lucie being the center and currently going as far south as Lake Worth and as far north as Titusville. I have listed all
the options for this area for Tango lessons, workshops, and Milongas that I am currently aware of in St. Lucie, Martin, Indian
River, Brevard, and Palm Beach counties.

Lane is our local milonguero and
tanguero who has brought us affordable Argentine Tango lessons to the Treasure Coast area. He has been teaching the Tango
in the Palm Beach area for several years now and has trained with many of the Tango masters in Buenos Aires on his frequent
trips to Argentina. He has weekly group classes in Stuart, Jupiter, and West palm Beach. His teaching style of "upper body
lead" is easy to grasp, and his progressive group classes will have you looking like a real Tango dancer in no time at all!
No partner is required and rotating is done often with those willing to do so. He customizes each and every one of his classes
towards the attending students needs at the time.

Progressive classes customized for attending students. Warm-up and practice drills along with review of the elements
of the dance, review of past figures taught and introduction to new ones, along with some practice time. No
partner is required. "Absolute beginners" are encouraged to sign up for a 4-week introductory class to learn the basic elements
of the dance. You will get some individual instruction from Lane and help from some assistants in the class as well.

Every Sunday Afternoon
"Tango Practica"
At the Copacabana Grill on South Hutchinson Island. This FREE weekly event
is supported by a couple of local tangueros along with the Copacabana for the benefit and growth of the local Tango
community. Come and practice what you learned in Tango class in a very informal and relaxed environment. Dress is class casual,
bring your favorite music to play and also get tips and assistance from the experienced Tango dancers that attend. Please
at least patronize the restaurant a little while you are there for allowing us to hold this event. Great food and
full liquor bar available!
*PLEASE NOTE: Since this is not really a structured event and happens
every week, you never now who may or may not show up and at what time. Please bring your own music to practice
to just in case and if you don't happen to have any, let us know and we'll try and get you some. Remember practice makes
perfect!

"Colette & Richard", traveling instructors to the Treasure
Coast!
**Monthly workshops in the Treasure Coast area**
This
pair are traveling professional instructors, performers, and champion competitors from the Miami area who hold Tango workshops
monthly now in Jensen Beach, Titusville, and Melbourne Florida, and are guest instructors at many Tango workshops and
festivals around the country and overseas. Their classes are very well structured and they simultaneously teach the leaders
and followers parts before working with the paired off partners. They have a pre-determined lesson plan and keep detailed
records of lessons taught and to whom. Partners are not required and rotating is done often for those willing to do so. They
also allow for videotaping of them performing the dance moves taught after their classes, but not during them, so bring
your video cameras!

This new and redesigned monthly event is hosted by Keith & Marie Davi of the South Florida Swing Dance studio and the
music selection and playlist are provided by Colette & Richard. This will be more "traditional" milonga music of
mostly Tangos with regular cortina breaks for you to really practice and apply what you learned in their class, along
with some neo-tango selections played later on in the evening.

"Blue Moon Milonga"
An special encore presentation of our premier Treasure Coast Tango
monthly event for our area hosted by Chuck Hand, Peggy Kamin, Bob Murray, and Gabriela Pugliese.
This will be a little different as we will forgo with the usual lesson and have continuous
music playing ALL night long and provide some HOT food to enjoy instead! We feature a pre-recorded Tango music
playlist with many "neo-tango" recodings with some full length cortina music of Latin & Swing songs to dance
to. This will be more of a dress-up event and we will have candle lit tables too!
The 5th. Friday happens (4) timer per year or put it another way about "ONCE
IN A BLUE MOON", so this will occur about once each quarter. Future dates will be; Feb. 29th. (Leap
day), May 30th., Aug. 29th., and Oct. 31st. (Halloween). Costume Milonga maybe?

*The group lesson is actually a progressive one for the entire time from start to
finish with the beginners version done first and a more difficult variation following. Students may stop at any time at their
comfort level and switch to the adjacent ballroom to practice or continue with the more challenging pattern all for one price!

1 (beginner) lesson with Colette & Richard followed by a
FREE guided practice with John Alcera in the adjacent studio.
7:15pm - 8:15pm Level 2 (int-adv) group lesson
8:15pm - 11:00pm Milonga and there is also a ballroom dance social in

adjacent studio at the same time. You can even
switch between studios as you please during the night.

A brand new mixed party featuring the captivating music of neo-tango, electronic tango and tango
